AllStar Entertainment & Uplighting
The owner of AllStar Entertainment is in a highly competitive industry in the greater Boston area. This means he has to be able to showcase his best work and edit the website quickly. As a new client in 2014 fresh in the middle of a DoS (Denial of Service) attack, we got his old site back online and convinced him to build his new website with WordPress using a responsive design. This was a big change for him, but he trusted us.
After two training sessions from our own Eric Lammers, the owner never looked back. He found WordPress easy to edit and maintain on his own.
The home page has a full-width complex slideshow with animated text boxes. The Uplighting page also uses a slideshow. This one leaves off the text but does utilize the Ken Burns motion effect.
The DJs section has multiple layers of customization to show off the talent exactly as the owner wanted. For each DJ, we have a section to describe them, testimonials, event photos and event videos. If a DJ doesn’t have any content for one of those sections, the menu link to that section is automatically hidden.
The Ceremony Options section has a large variety of sample music files with a simple to use onscreen player. In the WordPress Dashboard, the client can edit these at his leisure.
The Venues Gallery has a large display of thumbnail images with the venue’s name and location as captions. For the site visitor to easily find a specific venue or location, they can use the search feature of the convenient alphabet category filter. Then each thumbnail links to its corresponding photo gallery hosted on Facebook.Visit Site Back to Portfolio Page
