Built with WordPress, it’s easy for the race organizers to manage the site content and make updates. For people that want to stay abreast of race information, there’s a newsletter sign-up form that feeds into the newsletter service, MailChimp.

The race couldn’t happen without the many sponsors. To provide online acknowledgment, the sponsor logos are displayed in the footer of the website as well as on the sponsor page. To make management easy, we created a custom tool within the WordPress Dashboard by which the race organizers can easily upload sponsor logos, company names and website links. They are also grouped by sponsor level.

Each section has race details, race results and a photo gallery page all managed from the WordPress Dashboard.
